"The History of Bedfordshire County Golf" starts in 1923, when the four clubs in the County, The Bedford (later to become Bedfordshire Golf Club), South Beds Golf Club, Dunstable Downs Golf Club and Mid Beds Golf Club (later to become Bedford & County Golf Club), formed the "Bedfordshire County Golf Association". The book opens with the first County Championship meeting and lists all events and winners through to the end of 2023, the Centenary Year, during which Bedfordshire County Golf Ltd were awarded County of the year by England Golf.
