Ray King lost his wife and unborn child when a terrorist plague designed to kill everyone swept across the world, but he did not know that at the time. He just knew that his wife and unborn child were dead. He found somewhere to settle that had a walled garden as he expected trouble from packs of dogs. It was an empty house and he had to collect everything he needed from wherever he found it. All the time driving about he was looking for other survivors, he had survived and to him that meant others would have.
One day while following up a sighting, he heard a girl screaming and went to investigate. Six men were intent on raping a girl who looked to be fifteen or sixteen. Ray was not one to stand back idly and killed the men. The girl Clementine was grateful but naked. They went clothes shopping and while they were in the store Clementine spotted someone watching her, she was trying on bikinis at the time. The man was called Will, and he was quite happy to join their group. He told them who it was who was after Clementine, the clan, and it seemed that the clan’s leader, Jamal, really wanted Clementine. They knew they had to sort out the clan but first they needed more like-minded people. They found other groups who had suffered at the clan’s hands and they started to plan. What they did not know that there were other groups who needed sorting just as badly.
