There are times in everyone’s life when we are moving along, and everything seems stable. Out of the clear blue sky, clouds will form and threaten to turn our day into night. I was in the middle of writing my second book when my wife, Lisa, was diagnosed with cancer. Needless to say, the focus of our lives changed dramatically as we navigated a course in our marriage, which was new to us. Unsure of what the journey through the valley would look like, or how it would end, I decided to write down my thoughts, feelings, and conversations between The Good Shepherd and me as we walked The Valley
