The Necklace

Vanessa has been wearing a secret for most of her life, but she doesn't know it. Just before her eleventh birthday her parents finally tell her the truth: Vanessa was adopted, and her favourite necklace came from her real father who lives far away. Feeling betrayed by her parents' secrecy, she leaves her village in search of her father armed only with courage, determination, and her special necklace. As she faces dangers she has never imagined, a kind man named King Aric helps her through his animal servants: the Doves and the Tigres. Finding her father is only the beginning of the story.
