When I Was Young

Marilou's modest upbringing in a family of 25 siblings in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania was very unusual. There were tragedies and a near death incident. She was the first university graduate of her family, a Sunday School Teacher for 10 years and a prodigious unpaid fund raiser for several local charities in Northern Virginia. One of the high points of her life was as a volunteer at the White House for 8 years during the Presidency of George W. Bush.
