Everything She Was

It’s been ten years since the sudden loss of Ryan’s father. It’s been ten years, and Ryan and her family are still recovering; did that have something to do with the accident? Ryan was driving; She was angry. That’s all anyone knows. It’s easy to point the finger at Ryan for causing the fatal accident that results in not only the death of her mom, but of the teenage girl in the other car… Ryan and her two brothers must fight to pick up the pieces and not only survive, but live. Left temporarily incapacitated, and mourning the loss of her mom; everything Ryan once thought she knew will be put to the test.

While struggling with Survivor’s Guilt, and PTSD, Ryan will have to fight to clear her name in court, despite losing her memory in the accident. Did Ryan cause the accident that killed her mom? Was her memory truly affected by the accident? Or is there something her subconscious doesn’t want her to remember? These are all questions Ryan must face, but there is one question she isn’t prepared to answer; if she caused the accident that killed her mom, can Ryan live with herself? Or will the prospect of uncovering the truth, coupled along with her grief, be the very thing that breaks her?
