Harry Luby, who was my cousin, united Luby family members and provided them with an opportunity to build successful lives. The story beings in Illinois when Harry, who had lost his father at the age of four, teamed up with his cousin, my uncle, both of whom had tremendous entrepreneurial spirits. The two of them would eventually move to Dallas, Texas, where the story would spring to life, and the company roots would be established.
