"There are no other Everglades in the world" wrote Marjory Stoneman Douglas in her 1947 book "River of Grass" and we have tried to keep up that uniqueness by preserving its historical heritage.

You will not find large buildings or sandy beaches here but you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and obsere the rarity of sub-tropical wildlife.
