Papa & Punchanella is a story for children (and adults might find some wisdom in Papa) about Punchanella’s emotional journey from displacement to adoption. It is seen through the eyes of the child who poses many questions that Papa does his best to answer as Punchanella moves through a sequence of emotions regarding being taken care of by other adults who are not her parents. This book is based on the actual emotional steps my former granddaughter but now daughter took to find a soft place to fall with love, security, and permanency.
