Maggie is back in Evelyn Shikert Gilmer's newest book, Maggie, the Beagle with a Broken Tail, and the Baby Sea Turtles. In her latest adventure, she is visiting the beach with Ms. Evie when they come across a sea turtle nest full of babies ready to hatch. Ms. Evie; Dr. Ronda, the scientist; and Mr. Earl, the fisherman, join forces to save the baby sea turtles. Maggie wants to be a part of the miraculous experience, but she'll have to battle her own fears to do it.
