When 8th grader Tam Burkowski was in his final year of middle school, he didn't really have that many friends. He wasn't well-liked, and well, he was sort of a dork. But when one of his friends who was a sort of jock gave him an opportunity to become freshman team manager for the football team, he couldn't resist.
