Renegade Ranger

Luke Riatt had grown up in a world ended forever by the War Between the States. He had been eighteen when Lee surrendered; and defeat had left a bitter taste in his mouth. His marriage had ended abruptly when cholera killed his wife and child. Since then he had drifted, a lonely man with lonely assignments.
