Who needs long drawn out Iambic rhetoric to take the heart and soul to places of dark and light? Jodde’s style is reminiscent of film industries film noir period using shades, shadows, using patches of light in the right places to allow us to view not only her journey but allowing the reader to escape into their own voyage. Like film noir you get black and white leaving the reader to discover their own colors.
