This book contains a collection of personal devotionals and is the result of a genuine and true heart's cry to live a life for God's glory.
It all started simply with a desire to dive into the Word in a different way during my personal studies. As the Lord would lead every week, a specific scripture or concept would be the focus of my personal study. In the midst of a busy life and fast-paced world-marriage, family, home, ministry work, friends, and a career as a business executive and leader-I needed the Lord's help in balancing my time with Him. Honestly, I just wanted to slow down, maximize my time, and commune with the Lord and take my time to hear from Him.
I simply want to live a life by His Spirit and for His purpose, everything and all for Him and for His glory. How about you?
The recommended approach for this personal study and journey with the Lord is simple: By design, there is not a specific date assigned to each devotional. The intent is to take the time you need personally for each devotional study and let the Lord speak to you. The Lord may have you spend a day, days, a week, or weeks on one. Let Him lead you and commune with Him.
The intent is for you to talk to God about each devotional. Sit at His table and commune with Him. Ask God 3 questions:
"What do you want to say to me Lord?"
"How is this relevant in my own life Lord?"
"What do you want me to do with this learning Lord?
Once these three questions are answered, you are ready to move on to the next devotional. Additional recommendations on approach are listed in the preface.
