Coco’s class learns about proper etiquette; she wins the spelling bee, and she and her best friends visit a farm in the country. Then during the summer, Coco and her family celebrates her thirteenth birthday in Trinidad. About the Author Etiquette was introduced to Sheryl at an early age. She recalls, My mother taught us how to be polite when greeting someone on the phone as well as our front door. Sheryl also shares a talent with Coco in Personifying Etiquette with Finesse (The Coco Series). At ten years old, she was a contender in a spelling bee. Even though Sheryl wasn’t declared the winner, she was blessed to be the fourth grade runner-up to a sixth grader. That episode launched a myriad of gratifying events in her young life, which she reflects upon today.
