This book is about the life of a simple boy from Georgia who had unexpected twists of events in his life. His story will inspire a lot of people to win all the challenges in their life amidst tragedies and unpleasant things. This is to inspire people with ADHD and other mental health challenges to claim success in the end.
It started out on September 14, 1989. That was when Teontry (Trey) was conceived and his mom got pregnant with him. His mom was very young then, with an older man whom Trey knew nothing about.
They started dating and then it went to another level. Trey’s dad and his mom were married for about 5 months then found out that his dad had a substance-abuse problem. So they separated.
His mom moved back with her mother. So Teontry had grown up without a dad all his life. His God-dad helped raise him, Renard Williams, a retired Marta bus driver. Trey’s dad lives in Mobile, Alabama now. He was born on Sept 16, 1958.
Being raised by a single parent, this was a challenge for his mother because she was her only child and she worked hard to support her son. He was well loved by his mother, grandmother, and his uncle, Aries Waller, who is now deceased. Now, as time passed by, his grandmother found out that his dad had been giving him tempo drops to keep him to sleep so Trey had already smoked crack as a baby. And when Trey had gone to school that was when his kindergarten teacher found out that he had a learning disability also known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
