LORI RADECKI began writing and illustrating children's books when her first grandchild was born. Her first book, We Are Glad You're Here!, simultaneously launched her art career. Did You Have a Good Sleep, Ladybug? is her second book to be published. When she is not creating, Radecki is usually spending time with her eleven grandchildren, teaching art classes, or simply enjoying life. She lives with her husband in a one-hundred-year-old house in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
