The Viscous Garabedian & Korn is a 2-D computational code written in Fortran 77 for the flow calculations around aerofoil sections. The present author uses the original form to experimentally validate the code and further develop its capabilities to deal with flows at high subsonic speeds around aerofoils with surface irregularities. The purpose is to investigatethe effects of irregular surface roughness (Indentations) with the code’s grid density resolutions. The main development of the code is related to the grid generated allowing a higher resolution (more grid points) to better represent the flow. Development also included the study of the code’s stability, consistency and convergence with the new grid resolution particularly at higher subsonic speeds.
