About The Author: Natalia G. Toreeva is an award-winning artist whose works are displayed in museums in Chicago, Illinois, and in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her books are in the collection of the State Museum "Tsarskoselskaya Collection" in St. Petersburg and in local public libraries in Illinois. In 2023, she participated in the International Exhibition of Arts, where 22 countries partook, winning the Silver Medal for her three works in the graphics category. The author received her master's in art and design in St. Petersburg, Russia, and her master's in computer science from DePaul University, Chicago. She is a member of the Artists Trade Union of Russia and the DuPage Writer's Group in Illinois. Toreeva has illustrated novels, poetry, and has contributed to literary journals. This is her sixth children's book. A retired engineer and system analyst, she lives in Carol Stream, Illinois.
