I have never met you, and you don’t know me,

But in life we all know how it feels…when it hurts to breathe.

So here I’ll offer some kind words and together,

We’ll make it through the worst of bad weather.

For at every storm’s end there is always a clearing,

Which gives us a reason to keep right on living.

It may be buried, in dirt or in rubble, but I assure you,

My new friend, it is so worth the trouble.

The world would not be the same without you in it,
