An insecure young girl rocked by old family secrets is dragged into a dangerous quest. Alice is 11 years old and only in the 6th grade when her family is inexplicably attacked on Halloween night. Alice and her brother Davis soon discover that an ancient family secret has thrust them into the middle of a dangerous struggle between good and evil.

Their adventures take them to strange lands where they encounter equally strange characters. They must learn who to trust and how to overcome the obstacles put in their way.
