This beautiful new storybook introduces the very young to the wonder of a child growing in his mother’s womb and to the constant presence of a child’s guardian angel. Regina Doman has created this original story by imagining the conversations that take place between the tiny child and his angel as the child grows and is finally born. The story is utterly charming and introduces a sense of supernatural wonder into the process of pregnancy. Regina Doman is a mother of five and the author of Shadow of the Bear and Black as Night. She was inspired to write this by what her youngest sister said when, aged less than two, she was asked if she could remember being in her mother’s womb. She replied, It was warm, and dark, and there was an angel there.
