Frances Eaton Marks Fisher was born in Bath, Maine, on April 14, 1931. She graduated from Morse High School and later attended Wagner College on Staten Island, New York. As a registered nurse, she subsequently worked in Maine, New York, and California prior to joining the United States Air Force, where she met her husband Gene in Illinois. Two children were born of this marriage, and both grew up and joined the Navy! Frances began writing in the early 50s and continued to write until incapacitated by Alzheimer’s disease. Her writings were found scribbled on scraps of paper, in boxes and books – some readable, some not. Some of the Words are happy, some sad. Some will make you cry and some will make you laugh. That is the purpose of this book. Frances passed away on November 5, 2012 at the age of 81.
