In Search of Faithfulness: Lessons from the Christian Community

Why is Christian faithfulness virtually invisible in American society today? Where are God’s faithful people and what do they look like? In an effort to answer these questions, William E. Diehl records the results of his own search for faithfulness. I decided to look for faithfulness in those very places where it appeared not to be - in the world of business, for instance. And I decided to use exactly the same approach used by Peters and Waterman in their best seller, In Search of Excellence. Using real-life stories to illustrate both the successes and problems of Christian faithfulness in the world community, Diehl concludes that the church must do a better job in nurturing growth in faith.
