What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done in your life? In my memoir I confess that my addiction to food made me do some pretty lousy stuff. What if I told you at five years old I put a butcher’s knife to my rotund belly to cut my fat off because I hated it so much? Okay, what would you think of me if I told you I stole french fries from my three year old daughter’s lunch to satisfy my addiction to food? Or, what if I admitted to taking money from the OverEaters Anonymous Treasury Fund to pay for my late night pizza binges. I did it. I did them all, and a whole lot more to feed my addiction to food. This is my history. These are my stories. The joy of eating as much food as I wanted as a child led to an addiction for eating food as an adult. For years I tried hiding my addiction to food. That addiction still lives inside me today, and I’ll share with you how I keep it at bay. Losing weight and keeping it off is still a real challenge for me. Ultimately, I just want to be skinny.Craig Strickler
