A hologram is a two-dimensional image, which through the use of laser and light appears to be three dimensional. As one moves around the image, it will shift and change according to the viewer’s perspective which may further perplex or illuminate. It is on this premise that I continue the exploration of language for sound and definition began in my first collection, Noises from the Garage, in this second volume of poems written between 2011 and 2013. Giving voice to characters and objects from a grand stage to minute detail, the full sway of emotional and spiritual reckoning is on display.
