He has three married sons and three lovely daughters in law, Keane and Katherine and son Oliver, Krispin and Laura and Kyle and Kate. He has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. He has worked as a teacher and school administrator for the last twenty eight years and is presently Deputy Principal at Nga Tawa Diocesan Girls School, in Marton, New Zealand.
