En una parte de la tierra Duranguense, habia un pequeno pueblito donde la mayoria de los habitantes se dedicaban a la pesca y caseria. Cercas de ahi habia un lugar muy prospero en donde se levantaban enormes arboles, frondosos en todas sus verdes ramas, sus troncos eran gruesos y siempre se mantenian verdes y fuertes; Entre ellos habia un arbolito muy chiquito que se llamaba Javier, tenia apenas estatura para mirarse y distinguirse de los demas; por ese mismo motivo los demas arboles se burlaban de el por que no crecio, siempre le decian cosas y hasta algunos le dejaban caer sus pesadas ramas y hojas para aplastarlo aun mas.
