She learns what it is like to surrender her limited ways and accept the beauty, strength, and provision of a force greater than herself. She also learns how to hand that new way on to others who are in great need. Eventually she faces the fact she cannot save everyone, accepts that she has done her best, and surrenders her limitations so that others can step in and continue the good work.
