So rather than leave and go home to get money to enter the zoo the right way, these darling little ones decided they would dig a passage under the zoo fence and enter the zoo that way. After getting into the zoo and spending a wonderful day, the climax of the story, is when they could not leave the zoo because they discovered their mischievous friend Mimi, the bird had been missing most of the day just to find she had gotten herself locked in a cage with other birds at the International House of Birds and this is where the real adventure and excitement heightens.
