Grey Clouds Over Denver is the first book in an unnumbered series of books to come out called the Denver City Kids. This book contains two novellas titled Pictures of God and Manic Love Depressants. Pictures of God is about a young man whom is nihilistic, depressed, neurotic; and has insomnia on top of that. He talks about his life and how he views the things around him. Manic Love Depressants is about two characters who switch off telling the story of their friendship. Telling how they dealt with alcohol, attempted rape, death, and loneliness.
