The only valid correlation between guns possessed and gun crime committed is in the inner cities -- or outer third world nations. In the US, some of areas where there are the most guns are the least problematic. Guns are not really the issue unless (impossible) there were none. No guns, no gun violence. But this survey of information available, and my own viewpoints, should base one's conclusion regarding "gun control". Yes, CONTROL is necessary the same as in control of who drives a car. But any desire to outlaw private ownership of guns is absurd.
