When Nachton's younger siblings -- Amelie, Cecilie, and Ewan -- depart the Grand Library on Huland to pursue their own individual quests, Nachton is finally left alone to research the topic most fascinating to him in Overtwixt: Magic. But to Nachton's disgust, the Librarians of old didn't leave "the really good stuff" just lying around. Whether artifacts or knowledge, magic powerful enough to defeat the Vizier is also dangerous... and only a properly educated and responsible practitioner will be granted access to that section of the Library.
