For many years the evil King Saljarp has ruled the land with an iron fist and filled people’s hearts with fear and terror. A young thief is recruited against his will by King Saljarp’s soldiers. He and his cat friend, Simba, escape into the stormy night and run into a runaway princess who was to marry King Saljarp. The thief, Josiah, and princess, Sekira, believe that God sent Simba to them as an inspiration to make a stand against Saljarp and rid the land of him once and for all. Josiah, Sekira, and Simba begin a difficult but promising journey that will test their faith as they recruit an army of Christians and people who want to be free of Saljarp’s terror. From swamps to mountains, they encounter new friends and enemies along the way, as well as a pursuing phoenix, basilisks, dragons, giants, and bandits. But will their mission succeed?
