Pangs of guilt reverberate across time, across this abyss of hatred. Travis, the main character, receives his indoctrination to this fragmented way of life at an early age. Throughout his life, Travis, an immensely talented athlete, is beset by his overwhelming desire to succeed. His desire is to become the man his father, Berbec, was not. Berbec would forever brand Travis and would loom significantly throughout. However, would his transgressions be enough to push Travis over the edge? If not then how would Nadia fit into this sordid game of chess? Donat forget Marajone, the beautiful American who finds herself in the midst of this cacophony of curmudgeons!
