Certainly love has been celebrated throughout the centuries. Shakespeare wrote of love and its beauty. Troubadours from the Middle Ages sang of its many assets. And the Bible has a whole chapter devoted to love in Song of Solomon. This book, Connections, attempts to continue to celebrate love within the 21st century. A century more known for its technological achievements than for romance. In Connections I explore love in all of its shapes forms and configurations and end with poems that I dedicate to those who are near and dear to me.
