Good news: The age of space travel is filled with incredible scientific achievement. Bad news: The vastness of space opened the way for the spread of moral corruption. Organized crime, piracy, and old-fashioned slavery have become widespread throughout the galaxy. Young Morgan Fielding is stuck working in the mines on a very large asteroid. Frustrated, dissatisfied, and just plain tired, Morgan and three cohorts rebel against the government that has assigned them to work in the Ketan mines, permanently. They plan, practice, and execute their escape. But now, they are wanted by every law enforcement agency in the Commonwealth, and in desperate need to get their stolen starship repaired, with money they don’t have.
