New Grooves (1871)

Annie Thomas

Altoetry is an alternative style of traditional poetry, the style of verse and rhyme are arranged so the reader can carry a tune of music along with the words of the poem. Many of Justinas different influences include: rock music, basic life experiences, amateur poets, and his many friends and family. He is twenty years old and he began writing in the summer of 2006 when he lived in Branson West Missouri, in a small apartment with his friends. You could say the growing of age brought him to realize the beauty of life and the moments we have in this world, which is probably the key factor as to why he found such joy in writing. Justin started writing song lyrics for a local band, as one of his roommates was the lead vocalist. So when he came to Justin for ideas for lyrics it just took off from there, and by the summeras end he was writing all the time. Through the ups and downs of basic life he began strictly writing poems for all purposes, whether it was for the band or for something else. Now that Justin has moved on from the past days of living in that small apartment, he has found it pleasurable to share his work with the world. He has found his niche and is sticking to writing for as long as he can. Writing poems for people and himself has been a life-changing journey for him, and he hopes that all readers grow to love and appreciate all his work and effort.
