Thomas Dunckerley: This Life, Labors and Letters

Henry Sadler

  1. Including some Masonic and naval memorials of the 18th century. It cannot be denied that Dunckerley’s life was ruled by the principles of the motto he coined at the age of ten years, Honestas et Fortitudo, and it would be a pity if such man should be forgotten. His services to Freemasonry were great, as also that they were fully appreciated by the Masons of his own time. To him Masonry was not a pastime or amusement for idle hours.
