This book examines the clarion call of the Second Vatican Council for the faithful to learn to offer themselves at Mass, led by the Church’s pastors who were given a mandate to practice, teach,and promote this. The author sees the Council’s call for what he terms Eucharistic Self-Offering (ESO) as the most meaningful sign of our times that points the way to bring Christ’s saving work to completion.
