Born on November 22,1961 Dr. Kevin Wilbon Sr. was raised in the urban parts of Washington. D.C. He is one of six siblings and is a retired US Army Military veteran of twenty four years.

Coach Dr. Kevin Wilbon Sr. is an Alumni of Central Texas College of Killeen Texas, National- Louis University of Chicago Illinois, Touro University of Callamee California. and North Central University of Scorttdale Arizona. Over the years, he managed to hold five educational degrees; Associated in Arts, Bachelors of Science, and Masters in Education, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctorate of Education. Educational Leadership. He was inducted into six prestigious Honor Societies for his edicational accomplishments.

Currently, Coach Dr. Kevin Wilbon Sr. is working as the founder and CEO of the Wilbon Basketball Incorporation ( WBI), and partners with Fitness owners, John and Tammy Wright of ABCfitness.com of Waldorf Maryland. Their partnered venture is called ABC/WBI-Youth Conditioning and Fundamentals (YCF).
