Jupiter Gate is the last Arcane Institute to open its vaunted halls to the People. Long respected for cultivating the most brilliant magical minds in history, it’s now come under fire with accusations of prejudice and elitism. This year, the Academy promises things will be different.

Or so they say as they hastily pick out a few scholarship charity cases, and however haphazard, Blair Kaine is happy to take the handout. Talent and hard work are worthless without money, and although the moral high ground doesn’t put food on the table, her new badge and uniform just might.

Yet she’s far from welcome at Jupiter Gate, and everyone from the highbrow vampires and Nephilim to the sinister Fae all have it out for the mundane mortals in their midst. This is an altogether different world, and they’re about to show her how out of her depth she is, especially the so-called Archangel Zed who runs roughshod over the entire school and has it out for her from day one.

But with a little help from friends in equally low places, Blair Kaine is about to turn their whole world upside down.

This is Jupiter Gate Academy, and class is now in session.
