This long poem is part memoir, part review. Like many people, the pandemic found me reflecting on life, the past and the future, which triggered a need to at least document who I am, and where I am, today. It picks up some key moments and the changing emotions from growing up within the trials and joys of family. Picking up references in the intervening years from music, nature, and the local environment, the goal was to provide a story where most of us feel there isn't one, that each of us is full of memories and milestones, easily overlooked as we move through life. I hoped to take a snapshot of life, and use this as a way to recognise things that had been lost or buried, and then to put some to rest.
