Source of Deceit

Anna Jones, a gutsy correspondent for the New York Daily Journal, is covering the apparent suicide of a DC powerbroker, the World Bank Executive Director for South East Asia, when a key source also turns up dead. Pursuing the truth-and a scoop-Anna follows a lead to Miami, where the trail points to Thailand. Meanwhile, the two deaths trigger a chain reaction of upheaval for officials at the World Bank, covert operatives in Bangkok, and rebels in Chiang Mai and Myanmar, near the border with China. Despite threats to her life and livelihood, Anna remains determined to get to the bottom of the story.
