About the Creators:

Tracey Badger has worked as an elementary school teacher for 17 years. All the brave, caring, and funny kids who surround her every day inspired her to write children's books. She lives in Penticton, BC with her husband and two young children. The Fantastic Fort is her first book. Tracey would like you to know that she had to remind herself to "be brave" many, many times during the making of this book.

Alexandra Brooke is inspired by the memories of her own childhood. Being an only child growing up in a house full of books, she felt drawn into the fantastic worlds depicted therein. These wondrous imaginations nourished her creativity. Alexandra lives in the Okanagan with her little family. She still believes in fairies and therefore still refuses to completely grow up. This is her first children's book.
