The children are out playing in the forest near Horsmanden about 30 miles south of London when the first Nuke hits the British capital…The worlds civilisation has come to an end and only a very few lucky and resourceful people survive.This story follows the children and others they meet as they try to get to somewhere safe to live.The novel is based in part on some of the authors adventures on his travels back in the late 1960’s up through to the present day.
