One of the many challenges a child has to deal with during divorce is the loss of a single permanent home. They become subjected to constant packing and moving between both parents throughout the normal week and holidays. Unfortunately, that’s the way it is and will be for the longest time. But we have to realise there are some special moments that can materialise out of this new lifestyle. The child bonds with each parent in different ways and they share specific experiences they can always look forward to. A Brand New Day attempts to highlight the positives through loving words and beautiful illustrations. Mondays and Tuesdays are fun, going on cooking adventures with Dad. We look forward to Wednesdays and Thursday too when we get to be a green thumb with Mum. Don’t forget the holidays! Spring breaks with Mum and hot summer camping with Dad. Each day is a truly special day!
