Writing from the Fire Within: A Prayer & Writing Workshop

WRITING FROM THE FIRE WITHIN is a prayer and writing workshop designed for Christians seeking the dynamic of listening prayer and writing. It’s perfect for a one-day retreat for those who write-to-inspire and for individuals who want to experience the creative aspect of listening, reflective prayer with a journal. Instruction and discussion exercises are provided for group participation. Structured in five sessions, which normally take one hour each, readers are invited into three movements of prayer and writing: we move inward into personal transformation, upward toward intimacy with God, and outward to minister to others. Inspiration cannot be forced or manipulated-it comes to us as grace-as do all good gifts from the Creator. In relational prayer we discover God desires to light a fire within us, entrusting us with particular inspiration to become a beacon of God’s fiery love and light.
