Secrets of a Blue-Green River

John Starr, a Mobile attorney is living a predictable life until a near fatal plane crash renders him comatose. In his altered state he is cast back in time, five-hundred years, when Spanish conquistadors came through Alabama in search of gold. After narrowly escaping the wrath of Hernando de Soto he awakes. Almost immediately strange occurrences and coincidences begin to draw him ever closer to the place in his dream… to the Cahaba, a small wilderness river that flows through Alabama and to an old man, William Raintree, who lives on its banks in almost total isolation. Every event, entanglement, and state of confusion pulls Starr toward a destiny that is far beyond his control.
