How Life Changes

While this guidebook was designed to help prepare students for NCLB science testing, it can also be used as a primer on the science behind how life changes. What principles impact a species’ life cycle from birth to death? How does a species change throughout hundreds of years in order to thrive? How in the world does a tiny tailed globule, swimming in water, change into a large land-leaping frog? Using simple language and a variety of photographs, illustrations, and detailed diagrams, students gain an essential understanding of how life changes.
